Volunteers wanted
TO all members:
We HKLS have accepted Green Power to act as consultant in their butterfly programme for this year.This includes joining them in their butterfly outdoor trainings. There will be 4outings this year and will be held over three consecutive Saturdays and one Sunday.
We need volunteers to attend such outings. Please sign up in the Forum that you are willing to join. HKLS counts on your support.

Please Register at Out New Forum

While the existing forum was constructed with old version of phpBB software and a number of extra plug-ins, there were difficulties in the maintenance. A new moth book from Guangdong
A new moth book from Guangdong – Moths of Guangdong Nan Ling National Nature Reserve by Wang Min et al is now available in HKLS office reference library.
一本新廣東飛蛾書 – 廣東南玲國家級自然保護區蛾類 – 作者王敏等人, 現在已在HKLS辦公室參考圖書館。

Volunteers wanted
A) Volunteers wanted to inventorise our library books
HKLS has a vast collection of books and papers. We need to keep records, sort, label and upload the details of all books & papers onto our website.
B) Volunteers wanted to prepare specimen boxes
As HKLS decided to have our donated collections opened for public viewing, volunteers are needed to assist in preparing, sorting and labeling specimens and fumigating specimen boxes.
If you would like to assist, please send us an email at butterflynut56@gmail.com for your details including your contact numbers.
There will be instructions provided. The work can be carried out at any time depending on our volunteers. Non-members are welcome too.
